Based principally on previous work by the author, the Magellan Bryozoa are reviewed in terms of endemism, specific diversity, zoarial diversity and polymorphism. The Magellan, Atlantic, Pacific, Subantarctic and Antarctic zoogeographical relationships are reevaluated. New data related to the distribution of Magellanic and Antarctic species along the archipelagos of the Scotia Arc and new data on Bryozoa from the Magellan continental slope are added.
